Artist’s Statement: I enjoy hand building – shaping clay without a potter’s wheel. Because it has almost limitless possibilities, I have been challenged and captivated by the process. This infectious passion has permeated my life for the past several years and shows no signs of abating.
Medium: Stoneware and paper clay. Both allow for the inclusion of texture created by a multitude of objects in the creation of the piece.
Artistic Resume: I am a self taught artist. I have been Featured Artist for the Texas Pottery and Sculpture Guild for two years in a row. Finalist in the 2006 Rio Brazos Art Exhibition.
