Artist’s Statement: Gourds are my passion and are the canvas for my exploration and celebration of the beauty of God’s creation. They inspire my interest in keeping historical designs and stories alive.
I have worked with many mediums over the course of my artistic journey; art is a part of me. Gourds have fascinated me for both their historical and cultural uses, and for their versatility to be just about anything the artist imagines.
