Artist’s Statement: Art has always been a part of my life. It provides me with an outlet of expression that can’t always be articulated with words. Although I do receive interest and orders for my pieces, I can spend hours on just one piece to get it right. Money does not factor into the quality or time I put into each piece.
Medium: Ceramics. There is a sense of freedom and boundless possibilities in moulding the clay into what my mind’s eye can see.
Artistic Resume: I have had my work featured in two Duncan Ceramics color guides and have made pieces to be displayed for their trade shows. I had one of my pieces featured in a full page advertisement in Ceramics Monthly for Duncan products. I had one of my pieces chosen from a contest to be featured in an article in Niche magazine.
