Artist’s Statement: I have worked with visual forms in a creative way for as long as I can remember. After devoting over 30 years to teaching art in public and private schools, two universities and museums, I’m delighted to begin my next chapter in life, working full time in my own studio, just steps from my house.
Medium: Clay is a natural medium, along with water, some fire (heat) and guiding hands, it can feed the soul while providing functional ware and thought provoking forms. The wheel keeps me centered. The clay keeps me humble. The kiln provides mystery to my life right now.
