Artist’s Statement:  As an amateur/hobbyist artist, I express my idea of the world through natural materials.  I have been involved in art for as long as I can remember and it is as much a part of me as my sense of humor.  I work mainly with natural materials like gourds, egg shells, and wheat.  Working with natural shapes and textures fascinates and inspires me.  Upon retiring from careers in business and teaching, we moved to a farm, and now I have the time to experiment and explore nature and how I relate to it.

• Regional and State Awards from Kentucky’s GFWC
• Participated in the McCord Gallery, Chicago
