Artist’s Statement:
I received my fine arts degree from Wesleyan University in 1974. For 30 years I was a public school teacher and part-time potter, then became a full-time ceramicist 3 years ago. Being able to work on my art full-time has given me the opportunity to do what I’ve always known I should – submit to the flames of the kiln the images that live in my mind and are transmitted to the clay.
It is a joy to pursue this portion of my “lifelong dream”. Even more, it is a joy to share it with the person with whom I am in love.
